- The illustrative material on replacement of an epiploon of an entrance shaft of a transfer case is presented on an illustration which all references meeting in the text concern.
- Remove a transfer case (1) (see. The section Removal and installation of a transfer case) also fix it at the assembly stand (010) by means of a basic plate (020).
- Having hooked a screw-driver, remove an epiploon of an entrance shaft, - try not to damage sealing surfaces of a pin of a shaft and a landing nest in a case.
- In order to avoid damage of a new epiploon wind a shlitsevy part of a pin of a shaft (3) layer of an insulating tape.
- By means of a suitable opravka plant on the regular place a new epiploon.
- Remove an insulating tape and establish a transfer case on the car (see. Section Removal and installation of a transfer case).
- Check level of the oil filled in in a box, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment, - level of oil should reach the bottom cut of a control/jellied opening.
- In summary start the engine and check a transfer case on existence of signs of development of leaks.
